Starting from Monday, October 18th, the bus service between Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofía airport) and Costa Adeje is operational again, after being shut due to the pandemic and lack of tourists coming over.

The Cabildo de Tenerife, through Titsa, the transport company, will reactivate the  Aeroexpress bus line 40 line starting from Monday, October 18. This bus line, which connects the Costa Adeje station with the Tenerife Sur airport, will make intermediate stops at Magma, Llanos de Troya, Columbus, Zentral Center, El Camisón and Los Cristianos.

With the reactivation of this bus line, all the aeroexpress lines 20, 30, and 40 are operational again, so the tourist resorts like Puerto de la Cruz, Costa Adeje, and Los Cristianos will be connected again with both airports in Tenerife.

Now that bus line 40 from Tenerife South Airport is operational again, there will be 19 trips in each direction every day. The bus fare between Costa Adeje and the Tenerife South airport is 3.70 euros if the trip is paid at full fare and 2.90 euros if it's paid using the Ten + card.
