If you'll be in Fuerteventura at the end of October, don't miss the chance to participate in the International Blues Festival, which will last for a weekend.
Blues is coming to the streets of Corralejo on the 22 and 23 of October in an epic event that will celebrate this year its 14th Edition.
Corralejo Blues Festival is now a consolidated event, unique in its genre within the cultural scene of Fuerteventura.
The XIV International Blues Festival in Corralejo has been gathering a greater number of followers throughout its 14 years of history and now it's recognized as an important event among the other festivals of this genre.
The Blues Festival will take place in the main square of Corralejo - Plaza Patricio Calero.
Friday, October 22 will be blues night and will bring together bands like Maho Blues Band, from Valencia; Womblues, from Barcelona; and John Primer Band, Chicago Blues Legend.
Saturday, October 23 it will be jazz night with a notable Canarian and feminine accent with bands such as Young Project Sextet, which brings together local artists such as Isidro Ramírez and Julia Rodríguez. In addition, there will be performances from the bands of Tomas Figueroa and Enrique Thoson, Big Mama Montse & Sister Marion & Sweet Marta, from Tenerife; and Madeline Bell & Big Band Canarias.
Now that this event has reached its 14th edition it has a greater level of awareness among locals and visitors as well and there are people who love this style of music and who travel during this time especially to take part in the event.
The event will be organized according to the current restrictions of the pandemic.
