British man seriously injured after being stabbed in Tenerife
Early this morning, a 22-year-old British man was seriously injured in an attack on Antonio Dominguez Alfonso Avenue in Playa de Las Americas, in Arona municipality in the south of the island of Tenerife.
The incident occurred at around 6:26 AM on July 28, 2024. The man sustained a severe abdominal wound and was promptly attended to by the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), who rushed him to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital in a medicalized ambulance.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 received the alert and immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. SUC personnel quickly arrived at the scene, provided initial assistance, and stabilized the injured man before transporting him to the hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, the National Police were also on the scene and have taken charge of the investigation.
