British tourists will be able to enter Spain again, without PCR tests, from Monday, May 24th

The Spanish government has added the United Kingdom, along with Japan to the list of countries whose residents will not be subject to coronavirus restrictions when traveling to Spain, including the requirement to present a negative PCR test when entering the country.

The information was officially published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE), which means that British tourists will be able to enter Spain freely starting from Monday, May 24th.

From May 24th Spain removes the travel restrictions for visitors from the UK

What does it mean? 

• Non-essential travel to Spain is allowed
• No PCR test required
• No quarantine
• Health Control Form required

Quarantine on return to the UK

Currently, Spain is placed on the UK's “amber list” of countries, with similar classifications and restrictions for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This means that on their return to the UK, people would need to quarantine for 10 days and take 2 coronavirus tests.
