Calima returns to the Canaries this Wednesday, with strong winds in Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura

According to Aemet's forecast, on Wednesday, January 19, the calima will return to the Canary Islands after only a short break that followed the intense episode that happened during the weekend.

The day will start with intervals of high clouds in general, while the calima will gain intensity from noon and it will affect the islands in the east of the archipelago more.

Minimum temperatures with few changes, while the maximums will rise slightly. Moderate southeast wind with some strong intervals.

Probable very strong wind gusts in Anaga late in the morning, and in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura during the second half of the day.
