Canary Islands expect rain and a drop in temperatures starting from Thursday

After a period of nice warm weather, the forecast is set to change in the Canary Islands with the formation of a storm near the archipelago, which would bring rain starting from Thursday.

The storm would be located northwest from the archipelago, and its effects would be felt from Thursday morning, when the precipitation could be accompanied by electrical activity. 

The temperature is also set to drop in the coming days, while the rains are predicted to affect Fuerteventura and Lanzarote less than the rest of the archipelago, so no large amounts of precipitations are expected in these two islands.

According to Aemet's forecast, the rains will affect the Canary Islands during the weekend as well, with greather intensity on Saturday on the mountainous islands.
