Tenerife and Gran Canaria will likely go to Alert Level 2 tomorrow

At the press conference held today, Antonio Olivera, vice-counselor of the Presidency, has informed that a definitive announcement of the new alert levels will take place tomorrow, but he confirmed that based on the current data both Tenerife and Gran Canaria will go to Level 2. 

In respect to the rest of the islands, the prediction is that Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro will continue at alert level 1 and that Fuerteventura will remain at level 3.

Today the Canary Islands announced 512 new cases and 4 deaths, while the Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 115.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 226.57 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

It was confirmed that Tenerife and Gran Canaria move to Level 2.
