Strong wind gusts that may exceed speeds of 60 - 70 km/h are expected in the Canary Islands on Tuesday, February 15th, especially during the second half of the day.

In the north of the mountainous islands, the sky will be predominantly cloudy, and there's a strong chance of light and occasional rains, mainly during the first half of the day, with a tendency of cloudy intervals in the afternoon. Precipitation will especially affect the northeast midlands.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the weather will be cloudy, especially in the morning.

Temperatures will remain mostly unchanged, except for slight drops in interior areas of the islands with high altitudes. The wind will come from the northeast, with strong intervals and gusts that may exceed 60 - 70 km/h in areas exposed to the trade wind during the second half of the day.

The maximum will reach 21°C in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 22°C in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, while the minimum will be 16°C Santa Cruz and 17°C in Las Palmas, according to Aemet's forecast.
