Cloudy sky and some rain in the Canary Islands

According to Aemet (The State Meteorological Agency), the weather will be cloudy with occasional rains on Thursday and Friday in the Canary Islands archipelago.

Thursday forecast

In the north of the mountainous islands, the sky will be cloudy during the midday hours, with a low probability of weak and occasional rains, mainly in the midlands.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy intervals will be followed by a clear sky during the midday hours. In the rest, slightly cloudy skies with some interval of high clouds. Temperatures will remain the same, while strong wind gusts can be expected on summits and northwest and southeast slopes of the mountainous islands.

Prevalence of cloudy skies in the north of the mountainous islands, with probable light and occasional rains, mainly during the first half of the day.

Likely cloudy sky in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximums in slight decrease. Probable locally very strong gusts on summits and northwest and southeast slopes of the mountainous islands.
