The Corralejo Seafront Rehabilitation Project will see the light of day in the coming months after being included in the Strategic Plan for Tourism Infrastructure and Comprehensive Management of Tourism Centers subsidies.
The General Director, Fernando Miñarro, explains that the rehabilitation of the promenade is intended to improve public services, accessibility, safety and health of the urban limit of Corralejo with the coastline.
The work will consist of repairing the sanitation network, replacement of the existing pavement with natural stone, replacement of more efficient lighting poles, constructing ramps to improve accessibility and railings to guarantee safety, and incorporating urban furniture with litter bins and benches for rest and contemplation of the landscape from the Paseo Marítimo de Corralejo, in the section between El Muelle Chico and Hoplaco.
The project has a total budget of 484,201.44 euros, which will be financed as follows: Subsidy from the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce: €474,380.00 and own funds from the City Council of La Oliva: €9,821.44.
