Corralejo Carnival 2023 - Dates & Events - Carnaval de Carnavales

Out of all the carnivals in Fuerteventura, the carnival in Corralejo is probably the most expected one of all.

Corralejo Carnival 2023: 2 -12 March

The Carnival in the municipality of La Oliva will return in 2023 with a program full of events that will be celebrated between March 2 and March 12, where the most representative acts of the carnival will take place once again, like the carnival race or the Grand Drag Queen Gala.

From March 2nd until March 12th, La Oliva will experience its Carnival of Carnivals for another year with a program that will start with the opening by Pepito de Tindaya, who is one of the most emblematic figures of the carnival in La Oliva.

The Gala de la Reina, the Drag Queen Gala, the Gala de la Reina Infantil, or the Daytime Carnival will also return to the streets of La Oliva along with other events such as the Carnival Race or the Murgas Marathon.

The Grand Carnival Parade in Corralejo (Coso Carnavalero) will take place on Saturday, March 11th, starting at 6:30 p.m. from Chupa Chups roundabout.

Drag Queen Gala in Corralejo

One of the most anticipated carnival events is the Gala Drag Queen, which is an event that already has more than twenty years of history, as it began only one year after the first drag gala in the Canary Islands, which was the one of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1998.

Carnival poster 2023

Moño, a young resident of the town of Corralejo, was the winner after the Carnival 2023 poster election contest held last December, where a total of 22 works were presented, among which the professional jury chose "Jolgorio de especies ” as the winning poster.
