The Department of Tourism of the City Council of La Oliva, in collaboration with the Tourist Board of the Island Council of Fuerteventura, has launched a promotional campaign for the 2022 edition of Corralejo Kite Festival.

This campaign is aimed at the public and also at the professional and amateur kite performers who participate this week at one of the world's largest kite festivals: the Dieppe International Kite Festival.

An advertising spot, designed specifically for this occasion, will try to capture the attention of the more than 750,000 visitors who come to this city in Normandy every two years, attracted by the colorful kite festival event.

The campaign, which will last throughout this week, is meant to show off the gorgeous landscape and weather of the Corralejo Dunes, where the 35th Anniversary of the International Kite Festival will be held this year. The 2022 edition will take place between 7 - 13 of November, at Corralejo Grandes Playas in Fuerteventura.

Held for 9 intense days in September every two years, the Dieppe International Kite Festival brings together fans from up to 40 countries on the vast meadows that stretch between the city and the sea. After 42 years of history, it is currently considered one of the most important kite festivals in the world.
