An amazing event in Gran Canaria is the Costa Mogán Carnival

Coming on holiday to Arguineguin or Puerto de Mogan in 2021 and you don't want to miss one of the best events of the year? Then you have to take part in the carnival, which is a great way to mix with the locals, participate in the parade and have a great time during your stay on the island.

The carnival in Arguineguin usually starts right after the Maspalomas Carnival ends, so if you're in the south of the island you can continue easily extend your party days and nights by participating in the events organized by the municipality of Mogan.

Costa Mogán Carnival 2022: March 5 - April 3

The mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, and the Councilor for Celebrations, Víctor Gutiérrez, have presented the Carnival program that will take place in the different neighborhoods of the municipality between March 5 and April 3.

This edition of the carnival will be adapted to the current pandemic situation and most of the events will be dedicated to kids, although one of the main events will be the Drag Gala, which will take place on March 26 in Arguineguin.

No carnival parade and street parties in 2022 in Mogán

Due to the pandemic, there will be no carnival parade or street parties in 2022, but at least after two years the carnival will be celebrated once again in the municipality.

The events will stop in Barranquillo Andrés, Veguera, the town of Mogán, Motor Grande, El Horno, Playa de Mogán, Arguineguín and Las Filipinas and they will be mostly oriented towards kids. Thus, the program includes carnival workshops and inflatables, as well as magic shows.

The mayor has informed that for all the events with limited capacity it will be necessary to reserve free tickets on the website www.agendamogan.es
