On Saturday, August 17th, Los Cristianos will come alive with the vibrant energy of young people as the town hosts its annual Día de la Juventud (Youth Day).

This exciting event will take place across various iconic locations, including Muelle Viejo, Plaza de La Pescadora, and Playa de Los Cristianos, offering a full day of activities, music, and sports.

Event Highlights

Music and Performances at Muelle Viejo

The Muelle Viejo area will be the heart of the festivities, transforming into a musical hub for the day. The schedule kicks off at noon, with ambient music creating the perfect atmosphere as preparations get underway.

• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM: General rehearsal and ambient music to set the tone for the day.
• 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM: A lineup of dynamic musical performances will take center stage, featuring a mix of local talent and well-known artists:Local DJs (2 hours)

Sports and Games at Playa de Los Cristianos

• 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: The day starts with various sports events on the beach, offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sun while engaging in friendly competition.
• 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM: The beach will transform into a playground for several exciting activities: Water Volleyball: A large inflatable volleyball court (11x7m) will be set up in the water, providing a refreshing twist on a classic game.
  Roundnet Activity: Teams will compete in this fast-paced game, similar to handball, played with a circular net.
  Beach Soccer: An inflatable soccer field (12x6m x 1m) will be available for beach soccer enthusiasts.
  Surf Simulator: Test your balance and surfing skills on a 4x4m inflatable surfboard simulator.
  FIFA Zone 23: For gaming fans, a dedicated area with two 65” TVs, consoles, and FIFA 23 will be set up, complete with bleachers for spectators and a grassy area for added comfort.
  Virtual Reality: Experience the thrill of virtual worlds with VR headsets and a large 65” screen in a dedicated tent.
