The Government of Spain has agreed in the Council of Ministers to extend the restrictions on entry into Spain by air and sea from the United Kingdom and by air from Brazil and South Africa.

The restrictions will be in place until next March 16

Exceptions apply for Spanish or Andorran citizens, or residents in Spain / Andorra.

Direct flights and passenger ships from the United Kingdom continue to be limited, except for those transporting Spanish or Andorran citizens, or residents of Spain or Andorra.

The restriction of flights from Brazil and South Africa is continued with the same conditions as for the United Kingdom, adding, in this case, the possibility of transporting passengers in international transit to a non-Schengen country with a stopover shorter than 24 hours, without leaving the transit area of the Spanish airport.
