Get ready for a vibrant celebration in Costa de Antigua! From Thursday, July 25th to Sunday, July 28th, the streets will come alive with the festive beats of Batucada Sambuka each afternoon, setting the stage for a weekend packed with fun. Expect lively concerts, popular gatherings, and entertaining games for the whole family.

The festivities kick off on Thursday night at 9:30 PM with a performance by Sin Cobertura. The excitement continues with a tribute to the legendary band Queen, slated for midnight on Saturday.

Highlights of the weekend include performances by Taknara and Crossfire on Friday, and a lineup featuring Mrs. Troupe, Kev Archer, and a thrilling foam party into the early hours on Saturday. DJs Naupe, Joe Valdivia, and Klandestina will also bring their unique mixes to the party, making sure the beats keep everyone dancing.

Organized by the Antigua City Council’s Festivities Department, this celebration honors Santiago Apóstol with events starting in the cooler afternoon hours. Mayor Matías Peña emphasizes that the festival is all about enjoying performances and DJ sets, culminating in a fantastic kids' foam party and a communal toast.

Festivities Councilor Agustín G. Rodríguez points out that the evening concerts cater to all musical tastes, with many popular songs performed in English. The Queen tribute on Saturday night promises to be a highlight, followed by a fun foam party for everyone to enjoy.

To ensure everyone can join in safely, there will be a special taxi service running each night and into the early morning. a weekend of music, dance, and celebration in honor of Santiago Apóstol!
