Fight Breaks Out on the Tarmac at Tenerife South Airport
A dramatic brawl erupted on the tarmac at Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport on Friday afternoon, leading to the arrest of six individuals.
The incident occurred shortly after the involved parties disembarked from a flight that had landed on the island at 2:30 PM.
Eyewitnesses reported that a group of about 15 people, who were celebrating a bachelor party, clashed with another group of three individuals. The confrontation resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries.
The altercation took place as passengers from the Ryanair flight from Stansted Airport, London, were disembarking and preparing to board the bus to the baggage claim area.
The Civil Guard intervened swiftly to detain six participants in the fight. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact causes and responsibilities, which has raised concerns among both passengers and airport staff.
