Mª Dolores Corujo, President of the Cabildo of Lanzarote: "This winter the island of Lanzarote will have the best connectivity in its history thanks to the intense work that the Cabildo has carried out in order to promote the reactivation of tourism"

The César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport will be connected this winter for the first time through direct regular flights with Lisbon, Naples, Bratislava and Wroclaw.

Starting from November, Ryanair has begun to operate three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) with Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, and will also maintain a weekly flight (on Saturdays) with Naples (Italy) and Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. For its part, Wizzair will inaugurate its route with the Polish city of Wroclaw on December 22, with a weekly frequency (Wednesday).

Ryanair has also begun these days to operate with Marseille (Monday and Friday), Turin (Tuesday and Saturday) and Venice Treviso (Wednesday), while Wizzair has also added direct flights with Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino (operating in both cases on Wednesdays and Sundays).

For their part, Lufthansa and Jet2 have added new connections with Frankfurt and Bristol respectively, which will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays. Finally, Vueling has launched a route with Amsterdam (Friday) and as of December 4, it will also add a connection with Copenhagen (Saturdays).

In this sense, the president of the Cabildo, Mª Dolores Corujo, highlights that “after a period as difficult as the one we have been through, Lanzarote will have the best connectivity in its history this winter, thanks to the intense work that the Cabildo has carried out in order to promote the tourist and economic reactivation of the island."

These routes will be part of the 555 weekly operations, spread among the 35 airlines that will operate flights at the airport in Lanzarote between the months of November and April. This winter, Lanzarote will be directly connected to 86 airports located in 19 countries.
