The Tourism Board announces that starting from November 1st, Fuerteventura will have regular direct flights from Dublin with the Irish national airline Aer Lingus, operating every Tuesday and Saturday at an approximate cost of €98 per trip, in both economy and business class.

This decision was shared at the Taste of Dublin Fair currently taking place, attended by the Tourism Councillor, Marlene Figueroa, along with part of the technical team and promoters.

Aer Lingus is part of the One World airline group, which includes IAG Group airlines such as British Airways and Iberia. This ensures a customer profile with a medium to high purchasing power for our destination, noted the Tourism Councillor. She also announced that other airlines like EasyJet and Jet2 plan to open new routes from various cities in the UK, France, Italy, and Austria. Additionally, Lufthansa, the German national airline, has scheduled a direct flight from Munich starting in May 2025.

"Fuerteventura needs to expand this type of regular connectivity with our main source markets," explained the Tourism Councillor, Marlene Figueroa. She emphasized that it is "one of the strategic issues of the Tourism Board's entire promotional action to address the demand for our destination, despite the many transformations taking place in the markets, and also to ensure stability and security for the offer."
