Fuerteventura Windsurf & Wingfoil World Cup 2023

Pájara will host once again the 2023 Windsurfing and Wingfoil World Championship, one of the leading sports events in Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, which will take place on Playa La Barca (Sotavento), in Jandía, between July 21 and August 5.

During these days, Pájara will become the epicenter of these types of sports activities, which will have the presence of the best specialists in the world, as well as the music that will entertain the public in the tent set up on La Barca beach.

Playa Barca, part of Sotavento, is considered the perfect windsurfing spot in Fuerteventura. It is located only 200 m away from the Hotel Melia Gorriones and directly at the tidal lagoon where the World Cup takes place.

Rene Egli is the company that organizes the event in Fuerteventura each year and the complete program includes parties in the evenings and events suitable for the entire family.
