Heavy rains cause floods and incidents especially in Gran Canaria

The effects of a DANA (Isolated Depression in High Levels) have been felt today in the Canary Islands, especially on the island of Gran Canaria, where heavy rains have caused a lot of incidents. 

The areas of Telde and Ingenio in Gran Canaria have been affected the most, with roads near the airport also flooded, which has caused some flights to be diverted, due to the large amounts of water falling in a very short amount of time.

An accident on GC-1 has also affected the traffic in Gran Canaria, while the ravine Ojos de Garza has flooded with water due to the intense rains.
