Helicopter rescues a minor from the sea in Fuerteventura

A minor was rescued this afternoon off the north coast of Caleta de Fuste after experiencing difficulty returning to shore while swimming in the sea.

Emergency services were alerted and immediately dispatched a rescue helicopter, which managed to lift the minor from the water. The evacuation operation was coordinated by the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center in Fuerteventura and the Local Police of La Oliva.
