The forecasted temperatures for this Thursday in the Canary Islands are above normal for this time of the year, with a maximum of 27°C in both Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the two largest cities in the archipelago.

Although there's no more wind alert in place, very strong occasional gusts will be registered in some parts of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, as well as on the island of La Graciosa during the first half of the day.

The sky will be slightly cloudy on Thursday, with intervals of medium and high clouds. The calima will tend to subside, especially in the eastern islands.

Temperatures are still slightly rising, in some places reaching around 30°C, a value that is considered as abnormal for February in the Canary Islands archipelago.

Even today, on Wednesday, there have been places in the Canary Islands with temperatures that went slightly above 30°C, like in Aldea de San Nicolas (Gran Canaria), where there were 30.8°C registered at noon, while in Mogan the temperature reached 27.3°C.
