Storm Celia has brought two days of adverse weather in the Canary Islands, with rain, strong wind gusts over 150 km/h and a constant wind speed of 120 km/h in Izaña in Tenerife and also snow and ice on the summits of Tenerife, La Palma and Gran Canaria.
The roads leading to the mountains have been closed on Tenerife, La Palma and Gran Canaria, with many incidents reported during these days.
Aemet's employees from the Izaña Meteorological Station have been blocked in the Observatory since Monday due to the bad weather and the snow and ice that blocked the entrance to the building and they have been managed to get out only today in the afternoon.
We leave you with some of the most incredible images from the Canaries after the pass of storm Celia.
