Lanzarote promotes its differentiated offer in marketing actions with South Korea and the United States.
The promotional actions, carried out in collaboration with Promotur Turismo de Canarias and Turespaña, took place between July 8 and 13 with a familiarization trip dedicated to travel agencies, as well as a webinar.
Last weekend, Lanzarote welcomed a representation of South Korean travel agencies specializing in small groups tourism and luxury tourism. Thanks to the designed program, attendees were able to learn about the tourist resources, accommodations and complementary activities offered by the destination, with the support of the Spanish Tourist Office (OET) in Tokyo.
On the other hand, more than 60 travel advisors from the Signature Travel Network agency community in the United States learned about the landscapes, culture and experiences at the destination in the webinar 'Lanzarote – A Union of Art and Nature in the Canary Islands', thanks also to the support of the OET of New York.
With more than 65 years since its creation, the Signature Travel Network has reinvented the landscape of retail travel and has more than 15,000 travel advisors in the United States, Canada, Germany and Mexico, among others.
"SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote will continue to promote the strategic line of destination for the diversification of source markets, particularly long-haul ones", affirms the president and director, Oswaldo Betancort, aware that, in addition to diversification, it is necessary to incorporate actions aimed at attracting tourists with greater purchasing power”.
