Lanzarote

October is a relatively peaceful and quiet month in Lanzarote, apart from the week during the midterm holidays, when prices also go up considerably. So if you are not conditioned by school holidays, try to plan your arrival to the island outside of that period to get a better price for flights and accommodation.

Haria is a small but beautiful village in the north of Lanzarote, with a population barely over 1000 people. If you're coming to the island, we absolutely recommend coming here for a visit to one of Lanzarote's most authentic villages.

September is our favorite month to come to Lanzarote. The weather in September is still hot, but not quite as hot as in August. Also, after the first week of September passes the big summer crowds start to disappear, as schools start the new year all across Europe. Just don't imagine that you'll have the island all to yourself, since Lanzarote is a year-round destination, and it's lively and busy even in winter.

July is the month when temperatures start to rise well above 30°C constantly during the daytime, although July is not the warmest month of the year. That prize is reserved for August, which is the hottest month in Lanzarote, but July is not so far behind in terms of high temperatures and sunshine hours.

August is the hottest month in Lanzarote and there's no doubt about it. July is not that far behind, but August really takes the lead in terms of high temperatures here in Lanzarote.

Once June hits, the weather starts to feel like proper summer in Lanzarote: temperatures go up, the number of sunshine hours goes up, as well as the number of visitors. The only thing that usually goes down (and which is a good thing) is the number of rainy days. AWAY with the rain and IN with the sun!

Timanfaya National Park is one of Lanzarote's top attractions, with more than 1 million visitors annually, which makes the second most visited National Park in the Canary Islands, after Teide National Park.

Puerto del Carmen is the most popular resort in Lanzarote and it has an ideal location, in the center of the island, very close to the airport. The town is divided in two: the old town and harbor and the new town. This makes Puerto del Carmen a place with lots of opportunities for activities during the day, lots of restaurants and also plenty of bars and club open all night long.
