Man dies during robbery at restaurant in Tenerife

A man was killed early Sunday morning during a violent robbery at a restaurant on the coast of Alcalá, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, Tenerife, according to sources from the Guardia Civil.

The investigation, led by officers from the Guardia Civil's Judicial Police in southern Tenerife and the Unit for Crimes Against Persons of the Organic Unit of Judicial Police in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, remains open as authorities work to determine the exact causes of the incident.

During the attack, the restaurant owners and one of the alleged robbers were injured by a bladed weapon. All injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The investigation remains ongoing to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
