
A man was moderately injured in the early hours of March 25 after being assaulted with a bladed weapon on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina, in Playa de Las Americas in the municipality of Arona, Tenerife.
The incident took place at approximately 4:50 a.m. when the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert requesting medical assistance for the victim. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived with a basic life support ambulance and provided medical attention to the injured man, who sustained moderate stab wounds. After being stabilized, he was transported to the University Hospital Hospiten Sur for further treatment.
The National Police also responded to the incident and took charge of the necessary investigations to determine the circumstances of the attack.
