What To Do on New Year's Eve in Fuerteventura 2023/2024

If you're planning on spending New Year's Eve in Fuerteventura this year, then you might be wondering what to expect. Most of the tourist resorts in Fuerteventura - Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste and Morro Jable usually have New Year's parties each year, followed by fireworks to mark the event.

New Year's Eve in Corralejo 2022/2023

Each year there is a big New Year's Eve Party in Corralejo and this is the place to be at midnight.

The day is approaching to say goodbye to 2023 in style and to welcome 2024!
Prepare your best clothes, we have planned the best of nights:

From 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the celebration will take place on Nuestra Señora del Carmen Avenue in Corralejo, with performances by Edwin Rivera, the Furia Joven orchestra, the Tribute to Coldplay and DJ Juanjo.

In addition, there will be fireworks and a live broadcast of the Campanadas to celebrate them all together.

People are dancing and singing in the streets while waiting for the countdown before the new year. Most of the bars and restaurants in Corralejo are also open and hosting dinner parties, so you can join one on the spot.

ON NEW YEAR'S EVE, COME TO CORRALEJO IN GUAGUA!

This December 31, enjoy the great night in which we say goodbye to 2023 thanks to the free bus service. The bus will start at 00:30 a.m. and it will leave in the direction of Corralejo, visiting all the towns in the municipality.

To return home visitors can also use this service, leaving at 4:00 and 6:15 hours from the bus station on Avenida Juan Carlos I.

What to expect in terms of weather in December in Fuerteventura

New Year's Eve in Caleta de Fuste 2023/2024

• Location: Plaza El Castillo - Public Square El Castillo (opposite Hotel Barcelo)
• Time: 9:30 p.m.
  

The New Year's Eve party in Caleta de Fuste is also usually organized in the main public square and features music, entertainment shows, and fireworks at midnight. 

This year, Caleta de Fuste will welcome the New Year 2024 with several Laser Show shows at 00:00, 01:00 and 02:00, as well as a Tribute to Queen, El Coyote Cojo from 9:30 p.m. and the musical fusion of the best DJs.

The Department of Tourism will organize this year in Caleta de Fuste a pioneering Laser Show, illuminating the night sky starting from midnight, but also at one and two in the morning, says councilor Kristina Rodewig, while participants can enjoy the performances by El Coyote Cojo, the DJs and the Tribute to Queen by The Miracle Band, and many more surprises.

New Year's Eve in Morro Jable 2023/2024

• Location: Plaza de Los Pescadores
• Time: midnight

The Pájara City Council is organizing each year a party on December 31 to welcome the New Year and celebrate New Year's Eve. This will take place usually takes place in Plaza de los Pescadores in Morro Jable.

This year, starting from midnight, you can celebrate with music from DJ Naupe and Grupo Kandela.

New Year's Eve in Puerto del Rosario

• Place: Plaza de la Paz, Puerto del Rosario

Puerto del Rosario is the island's capital, so the New Year's Eve events are usually attended mostly by locals and less by tourists. But if you want to celebrate somewhere with a local atmosphere, Puerto del Rosario is the place to go. 

Welcome 2024 with the Great New Year's Eve Party that will take place in the Plaza de la Paz in Puerto del Rosario starting at 00:30 am.

With performances by Kandela, DJ Alesutro and N KLAVE.

How is the weather in January in Fuerteventura?

On the 31st of December, the entire island is usually partying, dancing and drinking cava or champagne to welcome the New Year in Fuerteventura. Most restaurants will also have festive dinner parties with menus starting at 40-50 euros per person.

If the weather is good, we recommend you try one of the outdoor parties in Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste, or Morro Jable. The entrance is free and everyone is singing and dancing together, in a typical Spanish atmosphere.
