The southern Lanzarote resort of Playa Blanca invites residents and tourists to enjoy four intense days of Carnival animated by music, dances, parades and a variety of shows.

Playa Blanca Carnival program 2025

BELOW IS A LIST OF THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE DURING THE LAST EDITION OF THE CARNIVAL

• OPENING OF THE CARNIVAL with CANINE CARNIVAL. Fun and prize for the most original costumes in the Plaza del Carmen. 
• RHYTHM AND HARMONY parade with the Los Timanfeiros and Los Yaiseros troupes. Departure from Plaza del Carmen, connecting with Avda Marítima to the Pier and Limones Street to finish at Plaza del Carmen. Performance on stage by the Los Timanfeiros and Los Yaiseros troupes.
• DRAG QUEEN GALA with performances by the best drag queens in the Canary Islands, the Senior Queen (3rd Age) and the Children's Queen in the Plaza del Carmen.
• CARNIVAL PARTY with the performance of Grupo Bomba and its orchestra from Fuerteventura and Rikabanda from Lanzarote, in the Plaza del Carmen.

• CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL 
• CARNIVAL PARADE with the participation of groups, floats and masks. Departure from the vicinity of Playa Flamingo, then passing through Avda de Canarias, Calle Jaime Quesada and Avda Papagayo to Plaza del Carmen.
• CARNIVAL PARTY with the performance of DJ Elvis, Grupo Bomba and its orchestra and the Rikabanda orchestra, in the Plaza del Carmen.
• DAYTIME CARNIVAL with the performance of the El Combo Dominicano orchestra of Gran Canaria, Grupo Bomba and its orchestra and Rikabanda, in the Plaza del Carmen.
