Playa de Amadores - One of the most popular beaches in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is home to some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands and also in Spain. The island has around 240 kilometers of coastline and 60 kilometers of beaches, with different types of sand and landscapes, which means that everyone will find a place that is suited to his expectations. Playa de Amadores is just a short drive from the airport and you don’t have to go far out of your way to get there either. You’ll find that it takes less than 30 minutes from the airport to reach this beautiful beach!

You can also walk to Playa de Amadores from Puerto Rico, as it's a lovely walk along the coastline and the entire way is paved and safe. It's actually one of the best walks in the south of Gran Canaria, it's pretty short, it took us less than an hour each way with all the stops for photos.
