Gran Canaria is home to some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands and also in Spain. You can also walk to Playa de Amadores from Puerto Rico, as it's a lovely walk along the coastline and the entire way is paved and safe. It's actually one of the best walks in the south of Gran Canaria, it's pretty short, it took us less than an hour each way with all the stops for photos.
