These are the dates for the 2022 carnival celebrated in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The highlight of the carnival is the Men's Marathon in High Heels, also known as Mascarita Ponte Tacon - it is a funny event, unique to the celebration in Puerto de la Cruz.

This event is the second-largest carnival happening in Tenerife after the carnival in Santa Cruz and it's also considered an event of international importance since it attracts a lot of visitors to the resort.

Everyone involved in the carnival in Puerto de la Cruz, from the designers to the groups and the contestants for the queen title, are already preparing their costumes and allegories so that the next carnival events have the perfect setting for a celebration that hopes to return to a certain sense of normality. The 2022 carnival will take place in Puerto de la Cruz from February 17th until March 7th, when everyone hopes that travel will be easier than it is at the moment.
