According to Aemet, the rainfall will start in El Hierro on Tuesday night, moving then towards La Palma, La Gomera and Tenerife.
In the case of El Hierro, Aemet has even activated the yellow alert for rain and storms.
Wednesday will generally be a rainy day especially on the mountainous islands, where the precipitation could also be accompanied by storms, more likely in El Hierro and La Palma. In the easternmost islands, the rains will be less likely and will be weak and occasional.
In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the rain is less likely to be present this Wednesday, and even it may happen locally, it will be weak and will last for short periods of time.
The calima will continue to be present in the archipelago, although it will decrease in intensity.
Temperatures will rise moderately, except in the north of the higher islands, where a slight decrease in the maximum temperature is expected.
The wind will be moderate and with an easterly component in the eastern islands and a variable direction in the western ones, without ruling out occasional very strong gusts in the western islands.
