According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), it is expected that from December 9th the Canary Islands archipelago will experience widespread rainfall in practically the entire territory.
Mainly on Thursday, it is highly possible that it will rain all day, especially on the mountainous islands. According to the Aemet's forecast, it could rain moderately in the north of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, as well as in the north and east of La Palma. On these islands, the chances of rain are almost 100%, especially in the mentioned areas, and the rains will probably last for the entire day.
There will also be a drop in the maximum temperature, but this change will mostly be felt in the areas of high altitudes, and not so much around the coasts. The minimum temperatures could drop to around 13°C in some of the municipalities of Tenerife like La Orotava and Arona, although the temperatures should remain unchanged across the other Canary Island
Wind component: moderate wind expected across all the islands.
