A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a seven-storey aparthotel in Adeje, Tenerife, on Wednesday night, resulting in a total of seven people being treated for smoke inhalation. The incident occurred at 9:15 p.m. at a complex located on Avenida de Colón.
The affected individuals include two men, aged 38 and 54, a 60-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl of British nationality, and other three people who did not require transfer to a hospital. The first four victims were transported to Hospiten Sur for further medical attention, while the remaining three did not require additional assistance.
Members of the Tenerife Fire Brigade Consortium responded promptly to the scene, identifying the fire's origin in a refrigerator.
