The arrival of the Three Kings is an important event in the Spanish Culture, with festivities taking place in almost any city in Spain. The celebration starts on the night of 5th January, with a parade called Cabalgada de los Reyes Magos.

On January 6th, Spain celebrates the Epiphany or the arrival of the Three Kings from the Orient, an event which is highly anticipated by everyone, but especially by children, who receive gifts on this day (similar to Christmas day in other cultures). 

The day of the Epiphany, January 6th, is a public holiday and so many businesses will be closed on this day.

However, the celebration starts a day before, on January 5th, with a highly anticipated event: the Three Kings Parade (La Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos). The kids will write letters asking for toys or other gifts and they will and these letters down to the Three Kings when they meet them before the parade.

What to expect in 2024 from the Three Kings Parade in Fuerteventura

MUNICIPALITY OF LA OLIVA

The Three Kings Parade in Corralejo 2024

On January 5th, we will receive their Majesties the Three Kings of the East in the municipality of La Oliva in style. Get ready for the magic of the Three Kings Parade in Corralejo:

• 9:00 a.m. Their Majesties will visit Plaza de La Oliva and will visit all the towns in the municipality: Tindaya, Vallebrón, Parque Holandés, Villaverde, Lajares, El Roque El Cotillo, La Capellanía and Corralejo.
• 6:00 p.m. The main avenue of Corralejo will be filled with floats, acrobats, dolls, and stilts... to accompany the Kings in the Parade. The parade will start from the Las Palmeras Shopping Center and will go up to Patricio Calero Square.

MUNICIPALITY OF ANTIGUA

The Three Kings in Caleta de Fuste and Antigua 2024

The Three Kings have confirmed their visit to Antigua and Caleta de Fuste.

• 4:30 p.m. - Caleta de Fuste - Three Kings Parade from Muelle up to Plaza de Caleta de Fuste (opposite Barcelo hotel)
• 7:00 p.m. - Antigua - Three Kings Parade from Montana del Durazno up to Plaza de Antigua

MUNICIPALITY OF PUERTO DEL ROSARIO

Three Kings Parade in Puerto del Rosario 2024

• Hour: 6:00 p.m.

The most special day for the little ones is coming: the reception of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men this coming January 5, in Puerto del Rosario.

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will arrive at the Commercial Dock at 6:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. they will begin their journey along Avenida Ruperto González Negrín, Avenida Reyes de España, streets Duero and Secundino Alonso, to the Barranco Pilón parking lot.

At the end of their tour, the Three Wise Men will wait for the boys and girls in the Giant Nativity Scene where they can deliver their letters, enjoy the Christmas market and participate in different entertainment activities.

MUNICIPALITY OF TUINEJE

The Three Wise Men will arrive in the municipality of Tuieneje!

• This January 5, their majesties will take a tour of the towns in old cars starting at 9:00 a.m., from Las Playitas and ending in Tiscamanita at 1:30 p.m.
• At 4:00 p.m. the parade will take place in the town of Tuineje, which starts in the Sicer valley to the Plaza de San Miguel.
• At 5:30 p.m. the parade will be held in Gran Tarajal with departure from Manuel Velázquez Cabrera avenue to the Fairgrounds.
• From 7:00 p.m. enjoy the Royal House of the Three Kings, where you can deliver your letter to the royal postman.

MUNICIPALITY OF PAJARA

The Three Kings Parade Pajara 2024

Their Majesties will visit the towns of La Lajita, Ajuy and Cardón starting at 10:00 a.m., while in Pájara, Morro Jable and Costa Calma they will arrive starting at 5:00 p.m.

The Three Kings will be received in the town of Toto at 5:00 p.m., continuing on their way to Pájara. Next, they will go along Avenida del Saladar until they reach the town of Morro Jable, where there will also be surprises and musical performances. Finally, the tour in Costa Calma will start at the Cultural Center and will reach the tourist area.
