The Three Kings Parade in Tenerife 2024 | Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos

Each year, on the 5th of January, everyone in Tenerife is waiting for the arrival of the Three Wise Men. This is a really interesting event and you should attend the parade if you're on the island at that time.

On January 6th, Spain celebrates the Epiphany or the arrival of the Three Kings from the Orient, an event which is highly anticipated by everyone, but especially by children, who receive gifts on this day (similar to Christmas day in other cultures). 

The day of the Epiphany, January 6th, is a public holiday and so many businesses will be closed on this day.

However, the celebration starts a day before, on January 5th, with a highly anticipated event: the Three Kings Parade (La Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos). The kids will write letters asking for toys or other gifts and they will and these letters down to the Three Kings when they meet them before the parade.

Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos de Oriente Tenerife (Three Kings Parade) - January 5th, 2024

Usually, there are parades organized in all the major resorts and towns in Tenerife and on the 6th of January there is a national holiday in Spain and most of the shops are closed. The 6th of January is called the Epiphany, the day when the Magic Kings brought gifts to baby Jesus.

Three Kings Parade in Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2024

• 5:00 p.m.  Big reception of The Three Kings at Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium
• 7:00 p.m.  Traditional Three Kings Parade through the streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Route of the parade: Avenida de Belgium, Rambla de Santa Cruz, Ramón y Cajal, Méndez Núñez, El Pilar, Villalba Hervás, La Marina and Plaza de la Candelaria.

Three Kings Parade in Adeje 2024

Their Majesties, the Three Kings, will drive through Adeje’s towns and villages on the evening of January 5th.

• 5:30 p.m. - Municipal soccer field in Adeje - Arrival of the Three Kings in a helicopter. Act of reception of Their Majesties. 
• 7:00 p.m. - Calle Grande Adeje - Grand Three Kings Parade with the presence of children's characters from film and television.

Three Kings Parade in Los Cristianos 2024

05 January -  Cabalgata de Los Reyes Magos Los Cristianos, Arona

• 8:00 p.m.: Arrival of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East by boat.
  Location: Old Pier of Los Cristianos.
• 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Grand Parade of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East accompanied by the royal entourage.
  Route: Av. Espigón Benchijigua, Av. Sweden, c/ Barranquillo (section between Av. Sweden and Av. Los Playeros), Av. Los Playeros to av. Amsterdam (Los Cristianos Cultural Center)
• 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.: Collection of letters from the boys and girls by Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East. 
  Place: Plaza del Pescador, Exterior of the Los Cristianos Cultural Center.

Three Kings Parade in Puerto de la Cruz 2024

• 6:30 p.m. Castillo San Felipe - Reception of the Ambassador of the Three Kings in Plaza de Europa. The Royal Ambassador arrives in Puerto de la Cruz to announce the imminent arrival of Their Majesties, with a warm welcome for the children of the municipality.
• 7:00 p.m.: Paseo Luis Lavaggi - Great Parade of Three Kings through Puerto de la Cruz -Route: Luis Lavaggi, Blás Pérez González, Jose Mªdel Campo Llarena, San Felipe, Plaza del Charco, La Marina, Santo Domingo, Zamora, Betancourt and Molina family, La Hoya and Centro commercial Martianez

Three Kings Parade in Los Gigantes - Playa La Arena 2024

• 6:00 p.m.: Playa de la Arena - Los Gigantes - Gran Cabalgata - The Three Kids will pass through the entire municipality of Santiago del Teide. At 8:00 p.m. when the Three Kings will reach Plaza Buganvilla in Los Gigantes there will be video mapping and the kids will offer their letters to the Wise Men.
