Fuerteventura Tourist Board and AENA sign an agreement for the reopening of the tourist information point located in the Arrivals area of the airport.

This agreement returns the activity of a fundamental service for any tourist destination, which was paused in 2020 due to Covid-19.

The agreement signed between the Tourist Board and AENA will have a duration of four years, and the agreement may be extended before its completion for another four years under the same conditions. In this way, Fuerteventura recovers a fundamental service for travelers and a strategic point to offer information of interest to tourists since their arrival on the island.

As of yesterday, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Fuerteventura Airport Tourist Office is once again operational to receive and inform all travelers arriving on the island by air transport.

The Tourist Information stand is located at the exit of the arrivals area of the terminal and occupies a space of 12 square meters. Fuerteventura was the only island in the archipelago that had not yet reopened this airport service.

The new operation of this point supposes an added value in the improvement of the tourist development of the destination. This is a fundamental service that provides useful information for the traveler when planning their stay in the place, expanding the offer, places of interest and guiding the visitor regarding the needs of their trip. All this will clearly help to improve the positioning of Fuerteventura internationally.
