Two beaches in the Canary Islands among the Best Beaches in Europe in 2022

A beach in Fuerteventura and one in Gran Canaria have been voted by Tripadvisor users and are now considered to be among the 25 Best Beaches in Europe in 2022.

In this top that comprises the 25 Best Beaches in Europe, there are in total four Spanish beaches, two located in the Balearic Islands, specifically in Mallorca and Formentera and two of them located in the Canary Islands archipelago, on the island of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

Playa de Sotavento, in Fuerteventura, occupies 9th place, while Playa de Las Canteras, in Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, occupies the 15th place among the best beaches in Europe in 2022.
