United Airlines launches direct flights between Tenerife and New York

Great news for the tourism industry in Tenerife: United Airlines has announced that it will launch a direct route between New York and Tenerife, starting from mid-2022.

The company is planning to expand its routes next year and Tenerife is among the new destinations announced by United Airlines recently, along with Amman in Jordan and Bergen in Norway. The island of Mallorca is also among the new routes announced by United Airlines, along with the Azores archipelago in Portugal. 

In regards to Tenerife, United has announced that it will be a seven hours direct flight, operated three times a week, that will link Tenerife South Airport with New York-Newark, and the route will start in June 2022.
