According to Aemet, the temperatures are set to rise in the Canary Islands this Tuesday, while a light calima is possible to make its presence felt for the next few days.

Weather forecast - Tuesday, May 9th

Slightly cloudy, with cloudy intervals in areas in the north and east of the mountainous islands in the early and late hours of the day. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind, mainly affecting the southeast and northwest slopes, and the tops of the mountainous islands, where very strong gusts are expected, as well as in inland and southern areas of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

Wednesday - May 10th

Warning in force due to probable very strong gusts from the northeast that will affect the southeast and northwest slopes of the mountainous islands, as well as the interior of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

Maximum temperatures will be around 32 ºC in the interior and southwest of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.
