A 60-year-old woman is in critical condition after being pulled from the water in cardiac arrest at El Médano beach, located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, on the island of Tenerife. The incident occurred at approximately 3:29 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination and Security Center (CECOES) 1-1-2, lifeguards rescued the woman from the sea and immediately initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after detecting she was in cardiac arrest.
