The yellow alert for wind, coastal phenomena and rain will continue on Monday throughout the islands in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, meaning Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro but also on the island of Gran Canaria (except for coastal phenomena).

On the mountainous islands, the sky will be predominantly cloudy with locally strong intermittent rainfall. In La Palma, La Gomera and the southern half of Tenerife the rain could be persistent and it is not ruled out that they may be accompanied by a storm.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura the weather will be slightly cloudy in the morning, with cloudy intervals throughout the rest of the day. There are low chances of rain, which could occur in the form of an isolated shower in Lanzarote during midday hours.

Temperatures will remain the same as in previous days.

Southwest wind, turning northwest in the western islands at the end of the day, with gusts that may reach or exceed 70 km/h, mainly in the midlands and exposed areas.

Temperatures

  • Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: min - 16°C max - 23°C
  • Santa Cruz de Tenerife: min - 17°C max - 24°C
