Aemet has extended the yellow warning for rain to cover the entire territory of the Canary Islands archipelago, after it was initially issued only for the islands of La Palma and Tenerife.
Locally strong showers are expected, which will be more likely in inland areas on the eastern and southern slopes of the mountainous islands.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura could also be affected by occasional to moderate rain, with clouds tending to form around midday, while the sky will remain cloudy in the evening and throughout the night.
The temperatures will remain mostly unchanged, with a maximum of 27°C in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and 28°C in Las Palmas, while the minimum will be 22°C in Santa Cruz and 21°C in Las Palmas.
