Record temperatures in the Canary Islands over the weekend due to a warm air mass

According to Aemet, a warm air mass is set to cause a rise in temperatures all over Spain this weekend, including the Canary Islands. 

There will be a general rise in temperature starting from Friday, December 8 and Sunday, December 10th, with temperatures set to reach 28ºC in some areas. If these predictions come true, these could be the highest temperatures registered in Spain at this time of year.

In addition to the high temperatures, the Canary Islands could also see a calima episode coming, but this is not certain at the moment.
