Yellow warning due to rain Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura this Friday
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow warning for rain that will affect Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura on Friday, while on Saturday the yellow warning will cover the islands of in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera.
According to Aemet, occasional showers with a low probability of storms that may be accompanied by hail are expected this Friday in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura as well as the north and east of Gran Canaria. Accumulated rainfall could amount up to 15 - 20 mm in just one hour.
On the northern and western slopes of Tenerife, occasional showers accompanied by storms are also possible.
Temperatures will undergo few changes or will decrease slightly. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, being more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes.
