Clubrural celebrated this year the 3rd edition of the Mi Fiesta es la Mejor (My party is the best) after a two-year break due to the pandemic.

Of various fiestas in Spain that were initially proposed as candidates, ten were selected as finalists based on their originality and cultural and tourist interest.

After a month and a half of voting, the winner of the 3rd edition of this competition was announced and the first place went to the Fiesta de Astures y Romanos in León, while Los Indianos, the famous carnival in La Palma (Canary Islands) got second place. Los Indianos, the carnival in La Palma, got 19.7% of the votes, while the third position was obtained by the Cider Festival of Nava, in Asturias, with 16.6% of the votes.

Tenerife might have the largest carnival in the Canary Islands and in Spain, but the carnival in La Palma is unique and different in atmosphere, which is why it was voted by the public as one of the best parties and celebrations in Spain.

This contest by Clubrural aims to promote popular traditions and charming rural places in Spain, that are not sufficiently recognized, in order to give them more visibility and help them develop as a destination for national and international tourists as well.

The rest of the fiestas and parties in Spain that got the most votes, after the first three places that got the podium, are: Battle of the Flowers (Laredo, Cantabria), Dance of the Stilts (Anguiano, La Rioja), El Salto del Colacho (Castrillo de Murcia, Burgos), El Ab (Cazorla, Jaén), Viking Pilgrimage (Catoira, Pontevedra), Procesión de ataúdes (Santa Marta de Ribarteme, Pontevedra) and Baixada dels Raiders (Coll de Nargó, Lleida).
