Two tourists injured after falling from a balcony in Tenerife

On Wednesday, two German tourists suffered injuries, with one of them in serious condition, following a balcony fall in Puerto de la Cruz, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government.

The incident occurred at 12:14 p.m. when the 1-1-2 operational room received a distress call regarding the accidental fall of two men from a considerable height in a building on Tigalate Street.

Emergency personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), accompanied by a doctor and nurse from the Casco Botánico health center, provided assistance to the injured and facilitated their transfer to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

Local Police and National Police officers collaborated with emergency responders in managing the situation.
