Young woman dies in jet ski accident in Gran Canaria

A tragedy took place on Saturday, April 20th in Anfi del Mar (Mogán municipality, Gran Canaria), as a 28-year-old woman lost her life in a jet ski crash after hitting the breakwater, according to reports from Cecoes 1-1-2.

At approximately 3:11 p.m., authorities received an alert regarding a jet ski losing control along the Mogán coast, resulting in a collision with the breakwater rocks.

Emergency response was swiftly activated, including the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), who found the victim with severe injuries and in cardiac arrest. Despite their efforts to resuscitate her, tragically, she could not be revived.

Police conducted necessary procedures while Civil Protection and firefighters from the Emergency Consortium provided support alongside other emergency personnel.
