Unusually high temperatures expected in the Canary Islands on Wednesday

The month of March seems like it will end with unusually high temperatures for this time of the year, with forecasts of over 32ºC in Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife.

According to Aemet, this Wednesday, March 29th, abnormally high temperatures around 34ºC  will be reached locally in the interior of Gran Canaria and 32ºC in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife. Locally very strong gusts are not ruled out in the southeast and northwest slopes at the end.

Calima will be present at high altitudes in the easternmost islands.

• Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: min 19ºC max 26ºC
• Santa Cruz de Tenerife: min 17ºC max 28ºC
